 The completed section cost a fraction of using Gabion baskets, and unlike steel wire, our stone will stand the test of time. |

Unfortunatly `Gabion baskets had been hastilly used, to retaine land adjancent to a prestigeous develpment. It was decided to exstend the wall using a single faced stone construction. Building engineers are usually in the dark when specifiying dry stone retaing walls, and tend to use a know method such as the gabion baskets, or very large concrete orientated builds, which can be mathamatically measured for retention and failure rates. These type of builds produce massive additions to carbon foot prints.
